Unlock the Future of Biomedical Innovation: Support Northwestern’s Chemistry of Life Processes Institute
At Northwestern’s Chemistry of Life Processes Institute, we’re at the forefront of protein-informed drug and diagnostic development. Here, researchers and clinicians collaborate to unravel the complexities of proteins, driving discoveries that benefit everyone. Our continued progress in drug discovery and precision proteomics offers hope to the millions of people living with disease. Funding is critical to carrying out the Institute’s bold mission to overcome threats to human health and train the next generation of biomedical innovators.
Northwestern is committed to translating biomedical research into treatments and cures that change lives, and CLP is a critical component of this University priority. CLP has set an ambitious five-year goal to identify better protein targets for Alzheimer’s ALS, Parkinson’s disease and cancer, paving the way for the development of new biomarkers and highly precise drugs and diagnostics for these devastating diseases. Philanthropic support is critical to continuing this vital research and to expanding its impact in the coming years.
Endowed and expendable gifts, including annual leadership gifts made through the Research and Innovation Impact Circle, are essential in CLP’s efforts to:
- Accelerate protein-informed medicine through Convergence Research Initiatives through interdisciplinary team research to gather preliminary data in support of applications for federal and foundation funding.
- Develop new technologies, instruments, and methods to enhance understanding of proteomics and its translational applications in identifying and treating disease.
- Provide awards and fellowships to develop the research capabilities of talented students representing the next diverse generation of biomedical research leaders.
Join us in finding new cures and shaping the next generation of innovators and change-makers in the biomedical field. Your contribution is vital to advancing protein research and education that can transform lives. Together, let’s unlock the future of precision medicine.
