What is a Drug Hunter?

There’s no such thing as a PhD in drug discovery, and few have “drug hunting” in a job description. Who and what are drug hunters, and what do they do? What distinguishes drug hunters from medicinal chemists, antibody engineers, or pharmacologists? Why are drug hunters so important? In this talk we’ll explore the role of the “drug hunter” as the product and project champion of the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, and how scientists can play this role effectively.
